The latest india ink

I’ve been tweeting the progress of this drawing via the Two Sisters account. It is being filed under that heading because much of the imagery has come from some of the places we traveled to this summer for shows (Lewiston, NY and Philly for this one). The Nomadi character once again resurfaced here, as did tiny replicas of the two sistas. Working title is Lewiston Ghost Picnic (I’ll probably stick with it).

You can see the progress of this drawing through the latest version here. I’ll be posting the finished piece once complete:

Hoodoo party

Once again it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything art related, I’ve been swept up in the music lately (but that’s good, because that’s where a large percentage of my inspiration comes from). I finally finished this little drawing, a bunch of trouble dancing on the hoodoo drums, this image was a bit of a brain purge, very spontaneous and no real thought put into what I was doing, I just let my ink pen do the talking. I was however, continuing the land form theme that appeared in my last ink drawing as I enjoyed exploring imaginary landscapes. Apologies this time around for the less than perfect images, I need to get batteries for the camera, so these were taken with my phone, not a crisp representation, I will try to update the image as soon as 2 AA batteries are purchased or located!
